Always Giving

This is:

Thinking of others

Sharing, helping, caring

Developing resilience and skills for our future

Looking beyond the immediate and looking to the future

About next steps and includes academic progress

About social action and standing up for others

About going the extra mile

It is embedded in the bible stories we share with our children (including):

Loaves and Fishes (Luke 9:10-17)

Befriending the tax collector (Luke 19:1-10)

The Good Samaritan (Luke 10: 25-37)

Love for your enemies (Luke 6:31)

It is evidenced through all our core values but

specifically Courage and Trust.

Always Here

This is:

Developing a strong moral compass

Developing strong social skills

Building strategies and understanding of friendship and forgiveness so children can resolve disagreements.

Developing spirituality through our curriculum.

Providing opportunities that develop character and build self esteem.

The wider curriculum

This is referenced in the bible with a focus on the whole child and living life in all its fullness (John 10:10)

This is evidenced through all our core values but specifically Respect, Friendship and Forgiveness

The decision to portray our vision on a dove is to symbolise the Hope that is behind all we do, all we are and how we live our lives.

Hope

We use the dove as a symbol of our hope

‘Jesus said to her: “I am the Resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live, even though he dies.”’

* We encourage children to be hopeful, to think positively.

* We tell children about the hope we have in Jesus.
