We can’t wait to welcome the children back for the start of term tomorrow. We had a great training day today and are ready to embark on our whole school poetry focus tomorrow. We have a busy half term ahead -indeed we have a busy week with World Book Day on Thursday and Year 2’s trip on Friday. Children can wear pyjamas or dress up as a book character on Thursday if they choose. Adults in school will do the same. The weather forecast is not pleasant reading for this week and we are keeping a close eye on it. If we have snow, please send children with spare socks and shoes for school – wet feet are not conducive with comfortable learning! Obviously, warm coats, hats and scarves will be essential.
