School will be open on Monday 5th March. The pavements are still slippery and there is still a lot of snow on the ground so please take care on your journey. Please send children with shoes to change into when they get to school. All wellies should be named (they can be easily mixed up). If you have a peg you can send in so that your child’s name can be put on it and the wellies held together this would prove useful.
Please do not allow your child to play with the snow in the playground on arrival before entering school – the snow has been moved safely to edge of the playground but will contain ice and grit so could hurt if thrown or slipped on.
As the pavements are still hazardous, Year 4 will not be swimming this week. This means they do not have to struggle with their book bag, spare shoes, PE kits and swimming kits.
We are looking forward to seeing all the children tomorrow and continuing with our school poetry focus.
