For us, our outcomes are split, with the traditional SATs and softer outcomes about children’s readiness for the next stage of their educational journey and preparation for the role they have in society.
We report our SAT results, at both Key Stages 1 and 2 and our phonics check outcomes. During the pandemic, SATs were not held and official collection of data was suspended. We are working hard to ensure all gaps are closed and children are able to reach their potential. The Government intention is that SATs will be held in 2021-2022 starting with a phonics check for Year 2 in November 2021 and through all other standard assessments held at the standard time. These are:
Key Stage 2 (Year 6) SATs, in Reading, Maths, Grammar, Punctuation and Spelling in May 2022
Key Stage 1 (Year 2) SATs in Reading and Maths in May 2022
Year 4 Times Tables Check in June 2022
Year 1 Phonics Check in June 2022
Year 2 and Year 6 writing teacher assessment in June 2022
Within school, we also assess Reading, Writing and Maths levels for all year groups through teacher assessment.
The data linked here is historic data from the last statutory tests taken in 2019.
