Our success continues!
A very well done to the boys and girls from Year 5 & 6 who took part in the recent Cross Country Event held at Tong. They all thoroughly enjoyed it but they did say the hill was tough!
We came away with a total of 4 medals. Huge congratulations to Tom, who came first, and Ben, who came second, in the Year 6 boys race. Well done to Jasmine who secured third place in the girls race. Also a massive pat on the back to Hudson who won the Year 5 boys race by a huge margin.
Husdon said, “I can’t wait to go to the West Yorkshire Finals and I hope I qualify for the Nationals.” He also chirped, ‘I wish I could be the hare!” Perhaps next year he could be the hare for the younger age range, that would be a great achievement.
Well to all those who participated, it was a great afternoon. I am hopeful that when the team results come through that some will progress to the next level of competition.
