PSHCE
Our PSHCE curriculum fosters a series of belonging, responsibility and community. We want our children to understand how their actions have a consequence and impact on others and the world around them and the importance of relationships. Our aim is to spark curiosity and citizenship to ensure and enable everyone to live in all its fullness. It is underpinned through developing, empathy and spirituality.
Our PSHCE curriculum is planned using the PSHCE association thematic model as a base but has been adapted and changed to meet the needs of our school.
Most lessons are based on discussions and some learning is recorded in books. There are opportunities to explore additional themes and topics using a range of SEMH pictures and books.
We also teach lessons when things crop up in classes that need addressing.
