Music

Music is taught in every class on a weekly basis. Lessons vary between 30-45 minutes in each class and are supplemented by singing together as a school. A specialist music teacher provides music teaching in years 5 and 6 including instrument tuition (ukelele and clarinet).

We work closely with the local music hub – Musical Kirklees to provide whole class ensemble, performance opportunities and provide access for individual music lessons provided by Musica staff and for attendance at music hub centres for children.
