History

Our history curriculum fosters a sense of belonging and understanding of our society and our place within it. We want to develop curiosity, passion, questioning and research skills alongside the ability to apply knowledge and understanding to events both now and in the past. Our aim is for our children to understand how to use a historical source and understand that events can have different interpretations. It is underpinned by the development of chronological understanding and a knowledge and understanding of events, people and changes in the past.
