As we are planning our curriculum for the year we are looking to continue to build in educational visits and visitors to enhance learning in our topics. We have already been invited for a class trip to BBG for an exhibition, year 6 are going this week. Year 1 have a trip to the Media Museum as part of their topic on space. Other trips are already in the pipeline.
We are hoping to extend our visitor programme this year too. We aim to make World Faith Week a week where all children can really develop their understanding of other faiths with visits and visitors.
We hope to have another author visit this year and I am in talks with an author to build in a series of visits to work with classes. We will send out more information shortly.
We always ask for help with visits so if you are willing to volunteer for our trips please let your child’s class teacher know. If you would like to be involved in school and volunteer with our creative projects or as a reading volunteer, please speak to the office and arrange to pop in to see a member if the leadership team.
